Nigerian businessman and social media personality King Ochacho has addressed claims circulating online that he is involved in ritual practices. The businessman spoke about the allegations during a conversation with popular TikTok streamer Peller in a video that surfaced online on September 17, 2026. Peller brought up the claims, telling Ochacho that some people had been alleging that he was involved in ritual practices because of his wealth and generosity. Ochacho dismissed the allegations, saying he would not attribute what he described as God’s blessings to anything else. “Don't mind them. I cannot give God's own glory to a mad man,” he said. During the conversation, Peller revealed that he had also faced similar accusations. According to the streamer, someone had claimed to have performed juju for him and suggested that this was connected to Ochacho giving him a house. “Me sef them tell me say I be ritualist. One Baba comot outside dey say e do juju for me na why Ochacho give me house. Say e do juju for Ochacho,” Peller said. Ochacho subsequently explained what he considered to be the turning point in his life, linking his success to his Christian faith. “My better days of journey started the day I found Christ and the Bible. The only thing that has kept me is the Bible,” he said. His comments have generated reactions on social media, with users expressing different opinions about his explanation and the claims surrounding his wealth. The latest controversy comes after Ochacho has previously spoken about his business journey and wealth. Earlier, he claimed that he made his first ₦1 billion at the age of 21 through charcoal export. He said he worked as an agent for a company exporting charcoal to Chinese buyers, with dividends from the arrangement eventually reaching the amount he mentioned. Ochacho has also gained attention online for his relationship with Peller, including his reported gift of a house to the young content creator. Despite the allegations circulating online, Ochacho has denied involvement in ritual practices and maintained that his faith in God and the Bible played a significant role in his journey.
