This Policy explains what information Tokenpress processes, why we process it, who may receive it, and your choices. It applies to the Tokenpress app, website and related services (the “Service”).

1. Scope and controller

Tokenpress is owned and operated by RBOX LTD (“Tokenpress”, “we”, “us” or “our”). RBOX LTD is the controller of personal data processed through the Service, except where another party independently determines how it uses information.

This Policy is intended to reflect the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other privacy laws applicable to our processing. Local rights may also apply where you live.

We receive information from you, your sign-in provider, your device, other users and activity generated through the Service. The app uses Google AdMob to serve ads and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect applicable advertising choices. AdMob processes IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), advertising and other device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Data use depends on applicable choices and SDK settings; non-personalised ads can still process data.

Release builds use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and Firebase Performance Monitoring for performance and network diagnostics, including installation identifiers and device/app information. Our own analytics record app and content interactions, and our error logs may associate an error with your account. Firebase App Check helps verify genuine app/device requests, and Firebase Cloud Messaging processes push registration identifiers.

Other pages on our website use Google AdSense and Meta Pixel for advertising and measurement. These services can process browser/device identifiers, cookies, IP addresses and page activity. This privacy-policy page does not load those advertising scripts.

3. How and why we use information

  • create, authenticate, secure and administer accounts;
  • publish, display, share and moderate content;
  • operate follows, comments, tips, referrals, ads, post sales and notifications;
  • maintain balances and review funding or withdrawal requests;
  • calculate qualified-view earnings and detect duplicate or manipulated activity;
  • provide support, diagnose errors and improve the Service;
  • enforce platform terms, permissions and limits; and
  • prevent fraud and comply with legal, regulatory, accounting and dispute obligations.

Depending on the activity and law, we rely on performance of our contract with you, consent, legal obligations, vital interests, or legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention and service improvement. You may withdraw consent where consent applies. Tokenpress does not sell personal data or use payout details for unrelated advertising.

4. Sharing and international transfers

We may share relevant information with:

  • users and the public when it is part of public profiles, content, creator attribution, ads or social activity;
  • buyers, sellers and creators where a feature requires limited transaction or contact information;
  • service providers, including Google Firebase services used for authentication, databases, storage, cloud functions, push notifications, App Check, Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring;
  • Flutterwave to process wallet funding. We send your account email, display name, payment reference, currency and charge amount to create checkout. Payment credentials are entered on Flutterwave's hosted checkout; we retain references and verification results, rather than full card details. See Flutterwave's Privacy Policy;
  • advertising and measurement providers, including Google AdMob in the app and Google AdSense and Meta Pixel on website pages that load them. See Google's Privacy Policy, Google's partner-site data explanation and Meta's Privacy Policy;
  • advisers and authorities for legal advice, safety, fraud prevention, compliance or a lawful request; and
  • a successor organisation during a merger, restructuring, financing or transfer, subject to safeguards.

Providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we use recognised transfer grounds and reasonable contractual, technical or organisational safeguards.

5. Public content and third-party links

Approved posts, display names, creator details, comments, ads and selected profile information may be public and may be copied, shared or indexed outside Tokenpress. Do not post sensitive information you do not want others to see. Links, advertiser content and direct contact details controlled by others are governed by their policies, not this Policy.

6. Retention and security

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and meet transaction, audit, safety, dispute and legal requirements. Public content may remain until deleted or moderated. Financial, fraud-prevention and administrative records may remain after account closure where necessary.

We use authentication, access controls, restricted permissions, trusted server-side operations and hashing for certain earning-verification attributes. No internet service is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Account deletion

To permanently delete your account and associated data, open Profile → Delete account in the app, or visit our account deletion page to request deletion by email without signing in. We verify ownership before processing email requests.

Deletion removes your login, profile, posts you currently own, comments, video links, follows, push registrations and account chat conversations. Posts already sold to another user and copies held outside Tokenpress are not removed. Withdraw funds you want to keep and resolve pending transactions first; deletion does not initiate a payout or refund. Contact support for help with unsettled funds.

Necessary transaction, payout, reward and fraud-prevention records, including relevant payment details, remain only as long as needed for settlement, accounting, disputes, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Active legal holds remain until resolved and applicable obligations expire. A minimal deletion record prevents account recreation.

7. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions, you may request confirmation and access, a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal or portable data where applicable. You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority.

  • Edit available profile details and manage follows, mutes, blocks and device notification permissions.
  • When available for your region and consent status, open Advertising privacy options using the privacy icon on the home screen or the option in Support to review or change advertising choices. Google determines which choices apply. Your device settings also provide advertising-ID controls. Changing advertising choices does not delete your account or turn off our account, security, product-usage or diagnostic processing.
  • Manage website cookies through your browser and provider privacy controls.
  • Delete content where the feature permits or ask support for help.
  • Email support@tokenpress.blog from your account email for an account or privacy request.

We may verify your identity. Some records cannot be deleted immediately due to transaction, fraud-prevention, legal, safety or compliance requirements.

8. Children

Tokenpress is not directed to children under 18. Children under 18 must not create an account or use wallet, earning, advertising or marketplace features. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal data.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy when the Service, our practices or legal requirements change. We will post the revised date and provide additional notice where required.
